It kind of does... for now. But keep in mind that we haven't actually seen Arthas yet (and technically, we don't even know this is him -- it might just be, you know, a mistake in shipping or somethitng like that). Clearly, the Argent Dawn can handle this little "event," and none of us need to worry.
Sure. Just keep thinking that. Meanwhile, more zombies have started appearing all over the world. Mind if I chew on your skull for a bit?

I sure hope this is the case. I almost saw the lineup of guards in HH all turn at once, before some jerk came and cured them all.
Also, it's no fun when 5 trigger-happy 70's immediately kill you as soon as you turn.
Hopefully we can get some zombie raids going on our own cities :)

MY server has a long queue so if someone could tell me: Could characters less then level 55 get it?
Maybe all of these sudden Zombifications explain how we suddenly get all these death knights running around in story!

It seems containable, but think about it.. if you instantly turn if you are hit.. that means that the priest who's sitting back curing everyone isnt gong to be able to cure all the people infected.. which means that they'll all slowly turn on the priest and infect him too.
The downside is if jerks dont go after the priest and just wait around for a cure.
But just like in battlegrounds, healers are the first to go!

And just like Battlegrounds, Prot Paladins can cleanse debuffs and take on 7 or 8 zombies at a time. Oh, and you're considered undead when you're a zombie.
This is THE event for paladins. Fitting.

Yes you can get it as a level 1, but you'll be a level 1 zombie.

I found out about it when the Aldor banker turned while I was shufflin' some inventory. Kinda sucks to see 7 bags of items turn red and run off to die. I'm thinking Flight Masters are next on the annoyance radar.

zombie raids. they cant cure all of you in a big raid and the ones left cursed/buffed will reinfect the cured ones. if you go 1 2 or 5 at a time it is easily curable but in LARGE groups it is a bit more difficult. so theres the key

There's actually a bug with the zombies at the moment where you can't die (unless you're stunned and then taken down)
Just keep swapping wands/librams/weapons, make a macro for it and keep switching weapons, and you'll get instantly healed up each time you switch. I've killed most of Orgrimmar's npcs while avoiding the argent healers. In large numbers of zombies you can kill the argent healers though.
Back to eating some brains!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Anyways I have a theory. What if Arthas ISNT doing this? Those of you that saw the wrath gate cinematic know the forsaken have a new plague. What if the rogue forces you see at work in the cinematic are the ones doing this now? I think this is a black flag move by the forsaken to push us into Northrend so they can get their revenge.

woot misha! me and a few others completely turned darkshire, had a huge zombie army... unfortunately, the npc zombie's ai SUCKS and so they cant use any of the effects or anything to keep themselves alive...

That's technically possibly, but isn't it entirely possible the rogue forces (Varithamas and that bunch) just exploited an opening they saw? I don't know, I'm at work so I can't technically see what's going on. Just making some guesses from the information I've heard.
