Sounds to me like the culmination of this event will be Arthas arriving in person, and whatever group manages to push him back to Northrend will be awarded his steed. Like the mount from the AQ gate event.

I don't know. Blizzard has shied away from such 'exclusive' content for world events, as you can see in the Sunwell dailies, where everyone has a chance to get a title and a tabard.

I do expect we get some kind of reward from all this, just to show 'we were there' when WotLK was launched.

From what I've heard Arthras will decimate SW and Org (well I've only heard org, but if he destroys org he'll have to destroy sw) and that'll make the Alliance and Horde decide to go to Northrend to end his threat once and for all.

So I'm guessing the culmination of this event will be him marching on those cities with a bunch of undead. It's cool that his horse is myteriously missing tho, I love how blizz thinks of everything.
