It costs .50 cents/day to play the game, I sure wish people would quit whining. Take the time to go outside. I only play an average of 2 hours a day and longer on the weekends to raid, but it costs me roughly .25 cents and hour, whereas some people play 10-12, maybe even more hours a day at a cost beginning at .05 cents/hour. Quit bitching FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just upset that their servers aren't capable of handling the load. It's the classic ISP situation: overselling a service without upgrading any infrastructure.

I don't know if the lag problems in general are cause by overselling the service, BGs, arenas & instances - maybe. But, the realms themselves are suffering from spikes of huge populations on some servers and very sparse on others. I'd like to see them do something about evening out the populations across the servers. Offer not just free transfers but free months or something to try to get people to move to different realms.

noone cares about the money, its the time spent thats wasted, not so much the server down part but the endless lagg and frustration of instance and bg servers being randomly downand to the going outside part, were not 5 year old kids here, some people actually plan in playing the game in their day/work scheduleon the other hand free days arent that great, i was away from the game for over 3 months and when i came back suggested to a friend to use scroll of ressurection on me. turns out i couldnt accept and give him some free game time because of 1 free day i got in the middle of that 3 month period

See, I'd think they'd have even more cause to give out free days for the reasons you specify. It's a very small cost to them for a big gain in player satisfaction.

I have to be honest the free day or free time is not really a big deal and easily forgotten. What they should do is to come up with some customer support reward items. A trinket or relic, something people will see in the bag or bank to remind them of how Blizzard appreciates the patronage and wants to make amends for the problematic gameplay. Simple suggestion with significant logistic involved - but who cares about a free day or even month really - you can't even go out to a decent dinner with a free month refund - maybe McDonalds. But I would remember a cool vanity pet, trinket or cool consumable that turns me into a Troll or something.

How about Blizz gives some free game time to everyone except people like Mat. Then we'll see who's doing the bitching.

I guess I will be the only one to agree with you matt. The rest of these people cant even imagine doing something else, sad really. Make as many excuses as you would like but when it comes down to it wow's customer base seems to typically be the most whiny, and most addicted.
