"This recent spate of issues may be indicative of what we can expect from the new Activision/Blizzard"No, but it may be indicative of the excuse people will use whenever they feel like complaining about the state of affairs. According to official sources, Activision has had ZERO IMPACT on Blizzard operations. By any reasonable measure, Blizzard runs incredibly stable servers. They just patched hundreds upon hundreds of servers and millions of clients with a 1GB+ patch. Most realms experienced some minor instability in the week following the patch, but most realms have been fairly stable. A few realms have had extended problems and are being worked on.Activision would have to be complete morons to interfere with Blizzard. They know Blizzard is a cash cow. They know World of Warcraft is the latest goose laying golden eggs for Blizzard. Why exactly would they interfere?
