What a lot of people don't understand is that when a refund is given in a subscription, the customer service rep is required to expire the game time you have remaining instantly. Also, there is a threshold after the last paid date when thy may not do it under any circumstances, but they can still give you free game time.

Giving out free sub time is way easier than refunds. As a CSR myself I have seen it firsthand.
