WoW Insider Show live tomorrow afternoon

Plus, we'll get some talk in about achievements, since we still need to give out that loot card from last week, and we'll have the usual good times, including checking out your emails (feel free to send them to theshow at wowinsider dot com) and putting a few polls in. Don't forget, the action all takes place over on our Ustream channel (I've embedded a stream after the break), and the show kicks off promptly at 3:30pm Eastern. You can use this handy time zone converter to figure out when that is in your neck of the woods.
Should be fun -- we'll see you right back here (and on the Ustream page) tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm Eastern.

Say the word "Braaiiiins!" like every few minutes for fun.

Any word on the podcast and whether it's working at all on iTunes yet?
Randy Oct 24th 2008 5:27PM
Amanda will be on? Then I will not be listening....Ms. Negativity needs to take a damn chill pill.
ThunderSevn Oct 24th 2008 5:31PM
Hope the ustream gets the RSS working. So far no go, so have yet to hear a single epiosode since the switch. :(
Mike Schramm Oct 24th 2008 7:02PM
We are still working on the RSS feed. It'll get there, and when it does work, all of the episodes will be on it. In the meantime, there is an mp3 link in the archive (you can click on the category), and also an archive of ustream shows on that page.

you need to take control of your ustream chat room, you have some nub in there spamming the entire thing and he wont shut the heck up.
Adam Holisky Oct 24th 2008 5:46PM
Thanks, taking care of this now.

OK, I've been riding the Warhammer train so I admit I haven't listened in a few weeks. I love the new patch though.
What is the turn around on the show in it's new form for the mp3 download?
deviationer Oct 24th 2008 7:57PM
yay for the warrior master returning :)
Saithir Oct 24th 2008 10:10PM
Btw, while the converter is nice, I think that using this is a bit better:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=179
Shows what's the current time in NY (EDT), according to your clock.

I can't seem to find the link to download episode 61's mp3...could anyone please post the link? Plx plx!
qann Oct 26th 2008 8:13PM
Same question- someone please post a link! :)
Kardigan Oct 26th 2008 11:02PM
Mike, can you please quit assuming we can read your mind? What archive? Is the archive on wowinsider.com, or on Ustream? Where on the respective page is it located? Is it a link labeled "archive" or is it under RSS or where? Give specific directions on how to navigate to this mystery download of the mp3. It is obvious that multiple people can't figure out where the heck we are supposed to get. This is quickly becoming not worth the effort to try to track down a copy of the show every week.
qann Oct 27th 2008 1:46PM
this sucks.
I've been searching everywhere and I can't find a download.
Last week's episode never made it to itunes, btw.
Kardigan Oct 27th 2008 12:10AM
Quote from Mr. Schramm last week:
"And fyi, this is the only week you'll have to wait. Usually, the show will likely show up on the feed every Sunday, just like it used to with WoW Radio. We needed some extra time to set things up this week, but usually, if you're subscribed, you'll get the show earlier."
Or not. Good work on such a smooth transition [sarcasm].
Zarc Oct 27th 2008 12:54AM
Why did you make the show so hard to listen to now? The iTunes Feed is still not updated and you can no longer download the show at wcradio.com.
Mike Schramm Oct 27th 2008 1:37AM
Saturday's show can be heard, direct from the Ustream recording, right here:
http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/812988
And the mp3 will be posted on Tuesday here on WI. Last week's mp3 and stream can be seen right here:
http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/10/21/wow-insider-show-episode-60-inside-blizzard-hq/
The feeds are still being worked on -- the folks at Blogsmith have to update them so they're compatible with the enclosures and iTunes. I apologize once again that it's taking so long, but I'll assure you again that we will soon have fully working feeds, both in RSS form and in iTunes.
Eventually, you'll be able to hear the stream on Ustream right after the show ends, the mp3 will show up in the iTunes feed around Sunday evening as it has in the past, and the mp3 file itself, along with a flash player, will appear in the post on Tuesdays. When the feeds are fixed and working, I'll obviously post it on WoW Insider, so you'll see it on the site.
Thanks for bearing with us. Sorry the transition is such a pain, but once it's all worked out, you'll have all the same old ways to listen to the show and even a few new ones.

For those WoW Insider Show listeners, effective immediately, neither Turpster, nor Duncor will be returning to the WoW Insider Show. Our staff at WoW Radio have enjoyed bringing you the WoW Insider Show over the course of the past year. Best of luck to Mike and the WI team as they embark on this new endeavor.
