Zombie infection down to 1 minute

This just in... you now become a zombie after only one minute.After you kill a zombie infect player, creature, or NPC you'll become infected the plague that turns you into zombie. This plague now only takes one minute to increase your brain eating needs to epic levels.
Does this mean phase five is about to being? Update: Yes, it appears phase 5 is beginning.
We can't tell just yet, but we're all on the lookout for it. Phase 4 has brought lots of new rewards, events, and other fun things. Keep your eyes peeled, and if you see anything drop us a tip on our tip line!
Update: Almost all Argent Dawn Healers are gone. The only ones in IF I was able to find were near the flight path and the King's room.

TB was just overrun with zombies, and there was a ziggurat right by the lower rise in addition to the smaller one closer to Bloodhoof that's involved with the scourge invasion. They're gone (for) now, but I had a good time being part of the zombie horde - three or four times - while it was going on.

This isn't fun anymore.
Auction NPC's, BG npc's, trainer npc, everything dead.
On top of that, my bank and tradechars get infenceted and killed almoste every 2-3 mins.
That's really not fun anymore, that's just ridiculous and a pain in the ass.

Meh it's just going to last over the weekend likely. I logged in, puttered about, and then logged out until the event was over. I enjoyed the zombies and stuff for a few minutes but I would've preferred to quest more. So seeing that wasn't likely to happen this weekend, I just logged out and have enjoyed reading the stories here. It's not the end of the world if I can't get anything done, and I don't see the need to poo on the fun for others.

Actually I kind of agree. The lack of healers means that it's easy to spread and, while I like the event, they need to balance this with people wanting to do other stuff in the game like hit FPs, the bank, AH some stuff etc. It's a fun event, but at some point it tips from 'oh cool, world event' to 'i can't do anything without running into a pack of zombies'.
Also, it seems odd to take the Argent Healers out... if anything you'd think that both sides would ramp up their efforts... if the plague is becoming more virulent, the other side would do things to counter that.
It will be interesting to see what's in store from now until the 13th...

Can't wait to see what the climax of this event will bring. A world boss? Zombies everywhere? Everybody turned into a zombie and Uther returns from the dead to turn everybody back and have a mano-a-mano with Arthas alongside Sylvanas, Jaina and others? I'm psyched :D

Wow, considering this, the last 4 years of Arthus doing nothing but getting more frozen to his frozen throne makes sence; His been mentaly working on this plague! It took nur'zul's mental mojo and Kel'thuzard, what? a decade of work before they created the first plauge that took 3 days to turn some one, and was not transmitable by any meens other than eating grain, to this 1 min bite fest! Time well spent I say.

If this were lore accurate, Arthas wins. Everything, everywhere, is infected. All the leaders, Bankers, auctioneers, guards, EVERYTHING. I would definately consider this a victory for the Lich King.
I, for one, welcome our new frozen, undead overlords. World of Zombiecraft ftw!

I Totaly agree! Even if we do SOMEHOW defeate arthus, burn away the undead, cure the plague, and rid /2 of "Looking for Brains" ALL by the 13th, we should still give Arthus Azeroth and our Living just for good sportsman ship and inginuiety! *Thumbs up*

Why has WoWInsider not covered one story about how so many people on the forums and ingame trade chat just hate this event now?
It was fun at first but being unable to kill the player zombies in Shattrath takes the fun out of it. When you have to wait for your banker, daily quest giver, and the ONLY reapir man in Shattrath to respawn you tent to hate wasting time sitting there.

I don't know why honest criticisms keep getting voted down. Even if you're one of the people just loving them some brains right now... don't you have to do normal stuff once in awhile? Bank? Auction? Get Reagents? Turn in ONE daily quest just because you've had it complete since the damn zombie thing started and the guy's just never alive? Really, I feel bad for anyone who hasn't hit 70 and actually NEEDS the flight path out of Shattrath.

Sure, I've done the zombie thing once or twice, but at least I wasn't a dick about it.
