Around Azeroth: The tomb of the unknown gamer
I don't know where it all went wrong, Doc. It all started off with Duck Hunt, then I got into Final Fantasy and Zelda. Dropped out of college, moved in with my sister and her husband, said I'd go back someday ... now look at me! Twenty years later and I'm just a broke stoner on a couch who's spent thousands of dollars on gaming equipment he can't afford. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to die here, and the only people who will remember me are pixellated. At least I have you to talk to, Dr. ELIZA.
(Thanks to Chemi of Kilrogg for this meta-reference from the Temple of Telhamat!)
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards.

Highly amusing ... It's a rare occasion when someone else references Dr. Sbaitso :)

I think someone needs to stop taking puffs off that pipe and like.. move this dude.
Also, who lays around on their couch naked?

Well if he was there long enough for his skin to rot away, I'm assuming his clothes did too.

And what are the couch cushions made of?
zappo Oct 28th 2008 12:59PM
Indeed a good point in his clothing, but as you can see the couch cushions are still intact - also made of cloth. Many things do not add up here dear Watson. Take for instance the opium lamp is still lit. Obviously for someone at the couch, yet the only person on the couch is dead. Also notice how the victim is laying upon the couch in the middle and not propped up in any way as most people would be. Most likely laid here by someone else...
Therefore I would have to believe that this pour soul had in fact not died here by accident. He was in fact MURDERED.

FUN FACT: Dunno if it's been changed, but if I recall correctly, that couch is not part of the inn... despite it being inside the inn building. You don't get the "resting" thing when you're on (or behind it). Weird, huh?
Maybe it's an evil sofa. Claiming souls.
