Agreed. It's confusing too. I go to the poll box, and see all these "see above." Why are people allowed to submit novels?

The captions are all reader submissions, if you don't like them, submit one yourself.

yeah can you add a "None of them" option to the poll, they all suck.
10-28-2008 @ 12:22PM
Agreed.Either the submissions all suck, or the person picking them is doing a horrible job.I doubt it's the former.

@pungkowWe've tried. But they're never selected to be in the final poll. I've laughed my face off at a few, but not surprisingly, they never show up in this phase of the contest. Also, on a side note, what's with the milk man and kinky quotes? I could have sworn that a big thing with the last couple caption this contests was that some of the funny entrees weren't selected because of their sexual nature.

First off the interface sucks, you can't tell at a glance which is winning because the damn poll goes 3 pages long.Second, everything is so fractured. This is partially the poll interface and partially the fact there are 10 choices every week. Either fix the poll format (or shop it out to a better 3rd party site) or offer fewer choices. Does anyone really need 10 entries separated by 1.5% each? The worst part is definitely the 3 page result though. Get rid of that.

This round is better than the previous ones (and not just because I finally have one in the running). None are great, but at least there are fewer old and tired memes.
