3 day credit for NA, EU customers

Blizzard knows about the realm problems as well as anybody, and as is their tendency, they're compensating for it by giving us all playtime credits. This time it's a full three days, for anyone with an active account on US, Oceanic, Latin American, European, and Russian realms (so basically everyone except Asia; the Asian realms have a different payment structure).
That's one thing I really like about Blizzard. They may mess up, but at least they try to fix it. Now can I have a Squashling, please?

Once again the conservative sandwich-heavy portfolio pays of for the hungry investor!

Only 14.99$ for a two-record set. Two records! Ooh Zoidberg at last you are becoming a crafty consumer. I'll take eight.

:D Woo! I'm happy to see them calming the masses. Personally I would have been fine without it, but it's a nice treat anyway.

Nice. Thank you Blizzard.
But to all the people who said, "Blizzard doesn't owe you anything! Read the terms," when myself, and others suggested we get some free time, I think you guys should forfeit your free time and give it to the people who suggested it in the first place. Because at the time you guys didn't want it, but I'm guessing you probably do now, right?

I don't care either way, but I wouldn't give my time to those who were begging for free time. It got kinda annoying pretty fast, even if they were partially right.

Acting like people who said blizzard doesn't owe us anything don't want their free time is just moronic. Everyone likes free stuff. There's a difference when people are bitching and moaning and crying going "give me, give me, give me. You OWE me time" and when you ask respectfully. The crying was what it was that got the response about the ToU. Blizzard still doesn't owe us a damn thing. They still did not have to give anyone 3 days. They CHOSE to do it.
People that suggested it in a respectful manner, I hope were treated with respect. But when someone makes a thread bitching and crying and how blizz owes them time, they need to be told blizz didn't owe them a god damn thing.

This means I'll have to wait 3 more days till I get my Zhevra?
Although I'm more than willing to wait for the free days. Go Blizzard.
Nathan Oct 30th 2008 7:35PM
I agree with one of the posters on the boards that I would rather have a zombie pet than the free days though!
mora Oct 31st 2008 7:13AM
a zombie pet would be the bees knees. I think that should be the Pet drop next year for Hallow's End.
cerement Oct 30th 2008 7:39PM
How about extending Hallows End through the weekend since it was the most affected by the restarts and "maintenance issues"?

Anyone care to make a guess at how much this will cost Blizz? 5m players at 50 cents per day equals about $7.5m I reckon. Not a bad gift to the player base in these uncertain times.
