Of course this will help with class interaction, but did they have to -replace- the class forums with these? What is the bad thing about keeping both? It makes people feel homogenized, big time. What's more, there won't be any place to discuss class-specific issues and get class-specific feedback and be assured the devs are looking for feedback on your class.
Oh, it's a bad move alright.

Except that was never the point of the class forums. They were to talk to players about issues, not address them to the devs. If you want something in the game changed, you should go to the suggestion forums.

Whether or not it was the point of them existing, it was a resource. It was a place where players discussed very specifically about a single class.
If the developers felt Priests were underperforming, they'd know exactly where to find potential reasons for that.
But still my point stands that it is unnecessary to have them deleted.
