Doesn't shadowfiend now return mana equal to a percentage of your total mana pool everytime it hits something? It used to return mana = to damage dealt, but I believe 3.0.x changed it (nerf to Shadowpriests, buff to healery priests, nerf to anyone fighting Curator).
