Ever hear the phrase, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth?"You know the Scourge Invasion is a world event that will probably never occur again, right? Frankly, I'm glad they included some useful gear, even if it's mostly sub-T5 quality that most people won't get or won't use. (How many people did you see running around with the original Undead Slaying sets from 1.11?)The fact is that nobody forced you to go out and replace gear. If you didn't want to go get the new gear sets, then you shouldn't have. The blue drops were already obsolete to just about anyone who ever did any raiding (or not, I crafted by Frozen Shadoweave set well before I even hit 70), and the Blessed Undead Slaying sets aren't *that* great. They shouldn't last any longer than T4 or T5 gear. They're primarily slots that you won't be replacing early on, anyway. A lot of the blue rewards you get, in Howling Fjord, anyway, are for rings, necklaces, bracers, etc., not chest, gloves, pants, or shoulders. Also, believe it or not, people still run the old raids, especially now that there are achievements for doing it. My guild has run ZG, AQ40, and BWL in the last couple weeks, with an MC run scheduled for next Sunday.
