At this point, replacing Dispersion with something else (like another damage dealing spell) would only result in doing more for the same amount of damage. Shadow Priests are now balanced around having a 51 pt talent that doesn't directly contribute to damage. Frankly, I think it's better if it stays that way.Raiding being what it is you are, without question, going to be thrown into a situation where reducing 90% of incoming damage is not only nice, but necessary. There are plenty of examples from current raids: Demon Chains on Illhoof, getting thrown in front of Magtheridon, Rage Winterchill's Ice Tombs.As any Fury Warrior will tell you, survivability is important utility in raiding. Given two identical DPS fighting for the last slot in a progression raid, many raid leaders will pick the one that can survive longer if things are going poorly.
