The Thunderstorm of Thunder Bluff
There's plenty of cries of "nerf please!" when people see what happens here, but how often are you going to run across a situation like this? Fifty Alliance tightly packed in a little elevator unable to see what's above them? I think there are three locations like this in all of WoW. Assaulting Thunder Bluff may suck when the Horde knows you're there, but it's not that big of a deal overall. Hilarious when it happens, but it won't happen often. In smaller scale situations like a one on one or a one on two... well, don't get between the Shaman/Mage and the cliff, and you'll be fine, eh?

Just Pally Bubble... instant immunity..... that's where the real nerf should be.

Serves'em right, scrub Allies. Stay away from the Beef Chief!
Ametrine Nov 3rd 2008 5:43PM
lol, "beef chief". That's epic.

Is it wrong that my first thought on seeing this was 'good, I'm not the only person who thinks Spirit of Redemption is worthwhile'
Andrew Welch Nov 3rd 2008 6:07PM
the 5% spirit buff is worth the point on it's own
Dbones Nov 3rd 2008 7:26PM
HAHAHA, awesome, go knockback defend TB
Jamesisgreat Nov 3rd 2008 5:11PM
Lol - I'm Alliance and think that if I'd have been one of those knocked back I'd still have found it hilarious.
I guess that that Horde player must have got his 'city defender' achievement pretty quick huh? ;)

Knockbacks are one of the best features of PVP in Warhammer- tons of fun to use at the right times.
It's predictable that WoW players would cry about them, but it's something that needs to stay.
Gorgzy Nov 3rd 2008 5:39PM
hahaha, that is hilarious, seems the vid was filmed by one of the alliance, so i guess they found it pretty funneh.

zombie Nov 3rd 2008 5:24PM
I agree, The cameraman wasnt knocked back, he jumped
Loyee Nov 3rd 2008 5:31PM
It's not staged ;)
You can see here that we did raid other bosses before and were there to kill the boss and not make some gig.

Wether or not you believe it or not, it still looks fun and especially as a witness it was hilarious ;)
only1rob Nov 3rd 2008 6:10PM
Its not staged and he didnt jump off first.
Most people dont realize this but if you play alongside someone else, you always do things ahead of everyone else.
If multiple people had been FRAPS'ing it then you would see each of them get blown off first.
Not sure why it does it, but thats just WoW for you
Lemons Nov 3rd 2008 8:45PM
it is kinda odd that the camera man is a hunter >.>
*cough* disengage *cough*
Anoxia Nov 3rd 2008 5:21PM
Ya it's Hellfire-EU :)
Dissidence, Winds of Change and Valorous :P Ty bojax for killing 3 SWP guilds in 1 go hehe
zombie Nov 3rd 2008 5:49PM
um... ok, then why does the guy vidcapping this jump off a second before everyone else falls?
Guido666 Nov 3rd 2008 5:56PM
Maybe it's one of those people that seems to have the perpetual jump button. You know the type... Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop...
Trivial Nov 3rd 2008 6:04PM
Have you never wondered why you're always the first person that mounts up and starts riding in AV?
It's called Latency.
Loyee Nov 3rd 2008 6:08PM
It's the normal lag, you are always ahead of everyone else even tho you are at the same spot as the others for a spectator. So everyone flew off first in their own perspective.
