With all of the news coming out of the US elections yesterday, I'm sorry to say that I haven't updated my client with
patch 3.0.3 yet. And since Blizzard uses
Bittorrent to pass around their patches, there's always that chance that I might be a little too late -- when there are lots of people downloading the patch, things actually go faster than when there's only one or two sources out there with the update. That's why we're glad to have our friends at Big Download covering all the bases -- they've got
the latest 3.0.3 patch up for download on their site right now.
There are all kinds of reasons you might not be interested in using Blizzard's official download client, so there you go -- for whatever you need it for, the patch file is yours. Now it's just, you know,
that expansion disc I'm waiting on for next week.

What other reasons are there to not using Blizz's official download client other than getting snaked in the bottleneck? Curious as I've heard others talk about reasons and have never thought to ask.

Or you can use fileshack/fileplanet/filefront. I believe Fileshack was the first with the 3.0.3 this time around.

Is there an all inclusive patch to update vanilla WOW 1.x to the latest version? I hate having to install a million patches every time I reinstall the game.

There's one coming soon, it's called Wrath of the Lich King.
Though you will need to update past 3.0

According to blizzard, you need TBC installed before installing WOTLK, so ..... The answer is no.

Think some people may have misunderstood, I have Burning Crusade. I just meant is there a single cumulative patch file that will update any version of the game to the latest.
I found one though, about 1gb and updates any version from 1.x onward to version 2.3.0

Always remember that you run a greater risk of receiving an update with a keylogger or other trojan when you download from a non-official site than when you use the Blizzard updater.
If I have to get the update(s) a little slower to greatly reduce my chances of receiving a keylogger as well, I'm all for that.

Uhh the Blizzard downloader is amazing. Not to mention if no one else in the world is downloading is you can get it straight from Blizzard pretty fast too on direct download.
*sigh*

I'm loving this patch being mirrored at big download, but damn that site is hard to navigate. I can't even find the patches by going directly there I have to come here every time I download them (which is a lot...cause..it's a long story).
