I'm a long-time PvE advocate and I see your point in a raid setting. Hybrid classes (paladins and druids) or classes that can fill 2 roles (priests, warriors, death knights, shamans) are going to be mighty effective to some extent compared the rest.Let us look at the rest:- Warlocks: Substained dps with raid wide debuffs (Affliction) or Burst Damage with some pvp abilities (Destruction)- Hunter: You can spec Beast Master or Marksmanship, bring good raid wide buffs and do good damage in pvp. But what if your raid needs extra mana regen, then just spec survival!- Mages: Preparation utility and different specs: Arcane is Buff/Debuff/Mobility. Fire is crazy crit burst damage. Frost does controlled burst and does cc.- Rogues: Not much here except more substained dps or poisons. But it's always fun to change playstyles according to some drop you have during the night.
