So, what some people are saying is that if you take someone who does exceptional dps raiding with a hunter and hand her a 70 warlock, a class that she has never played before, with the same gear level, she will instantly give the same dps as before and will like playing the warlock just as much as playing the hunter?Yes, the classes can give about the same dps now, BUT THEY DO IT IN DIFFERENT WAYS. Playing a shadow priest is not the same as playing a warlock is not the same as playing a mage is not the same as playing a balance druid, and many people will find they enjoy playing one over the other.The point is that playing the class you enjoy will not deter you from raiding anymore. Diversity is not going to be lost forever. The end result may be the same, but the path chosen can be quite different.
