I suppose their will be a variety of ways people will react from guild to guild for these minor streamline changes.
However, I don't think Blizzard is anywhere near accomplishing this lofty design proposal. They're just in the business of saying they're working towards this goal, and time after time it's really not significant enough to allow what they're promising.
The class system they're rooted in, isn't going to allow them to be as flexible as people want.
The fact is, if the raid needs a healer, and you ain't one, tough luck. Unless they're talking about raids that don't need heals or raids that don't need DPS or raids that don't need a tank. Then you might be able to get away with whatever raid composition you can dream up.
