Tenris still lurks in Karazhan for now

We've been covering the news about Tenris Mirkblood, a temporary Scourge boss hanging out in Karazhan. Adam even has a handy strategy guide that will help you bring him down. The boss is pretty neat, dropping both a non-combat pet and the ultimate in two handed guitars -- the Arcanite Ripper.
Tigole warned us that the boss would only be around for about 10 days. As of just now, Tenris is still in Karazhan, waiting to dole out his badges, batlings, and axes. Now's the time to get in there, folks. We can't gaurantee how much longer he's going to be waiting for you to come kill him. The Scourge invasion reset and started again after it previously closed down, so this is probably as close to a "second chance" as you're going to get.
As a tip, be sure to pick up your Vampiric Batling, even if you already know the spell. The "Already Known" item sells for 10 gold to a vendor. Killing Tenris is at least worth a daily quest to you.

We dropped him on tuesday. This kill was our third time at dropping him. Our guild now has a band! lol

Another chance at a boss for badges and being forced to come as a healer so I don't get a chance to roll for it on my paladin.
Alas this is the fate of an altoholic - "We need this, so bring the lock, we need this so bring the healer..." I wish the damn thing was an off hand so that everyone had a chance to roll for it... and not our ninja happy shammy who greeds everything because he wants to be viable in all specs for the 7 days we have left for the expansion to come out. I kid you not. That was the excuse he told the raid in vent.
Although my tone is slightly annoyed, I don't mind coming on alts - it's just a little frustrating when the item you'd like to get is on a limited duration and no one else has bothered to leveled up a healer.

Wait, the player you are refering to rolled on the Arcanite Ripper on his shaman? A 2 handed axe? A shaman? Burning Crusade?

I got the bat on my priest, and the ripper on my hunter. Thank you guild with mostly druids for tanks and mostly casters for DPS.

On Tues night we were chatting with other raids in Karazan chat and apparently it's RANDOM if Tenris is in your instance or not.
He was NOT behind the door when we ran Kara on Tuesday, but other raids said he was behind the door.
I'm not sure if it's based on the Raid leader having the quest or some other variable. But he was NOT there when we ran it this past Tuesday. Other people claim he was though. Who knows...

No sir, that cannot be the answer. I was the raid leader Tuesday evening WITH the quest and he was not there...we just chocked it up to him being gone for good. Kind of frustrating when we have an eager Orc willing to swing something large in the name of the Horde.

He was there for us last night. We were kind of surprised after hearing that he was gone. Glad he was though, as I got my Axe!

Guess i am glad i got mine the first week he came to Kara. Hopefully this tuesday we do Kara and he is there.

Our guild finally had enough people to go to Karazhan last night for the first time, ever! (Well, to 9-man it...) We were pretty happy to get the chance, as we're mostly a casual/alt guild.
Anyway, we cleared up to Tenris, and he was indeed there. He's still floating around...

If he wasn't there have you considered someone in your raid might be saved? :P
Anyway my warrior is lv65 and I just hope I can somehow get in a raid, or reach 70 before he's gone. He's an Orc as well, so this would be imba nice! On another note, I'm aware that only one person needs the kara entrance key, but is there a lvl req to enter the instance? Ty in advance.
