Collector's Edition back on sale for $129.79 at Amazon

A few days ago the Collector's Edition went up for sale again on Amazon. A few hours after that post went live it was sold out again. Today the CE is back on sale. This time the price has nearly doubled, and is being sold through Amazon for the site Hubbagames.As it stands, you can get the Collector's Edition for $129.79 right now. That's up $59.80 from what you could get it for a few days ago. The price hike can easily be contributed to the demand for the Collector's Edition.
Wrath of the Lich King will be released next week at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, November 13th. Amazon and other online retailers are "guaranteeing" that they'll deliver Wrath to you during the day of the 13th.
The regular edition of Wrath is going for $39.99. We have previously covered the contents of the Collector's Edition.
Edit: You can also order the Collector's Edition online at Walmart at the price of $69.82, however your mileage may vary.

Think of it as an investment, as the original collector's edition goes for around $1,000 on EBay nowadays...

On the other hand the BC CE was way over produced and can be has for as little as $40 now, which at $30 under MSRP isn't that great of an investment.
Only the original CE will be worth that much.

Don't buy anything from Hubbagames anyway. they have a habit of sending people the wrong items and then giving them the run around. Amazon had to refund me my money under their protection program.

You'll be surprised the type of people who'll be stupid enough to pay for this.
On this note, I recently went to an EB and they told me that the collector's edition was going for $259 dollars.
Talk about inflation hike up the ass. No thanks. I may want the pet, but I am not about to be price gouged by rogues-scalpters.

No need to pay that much for it. If you can't find it now chances are you will be able to get one eventually. You can still get BC collector's editions for under $90 new.

Gawd, what a ripoff. Save yourself the $90, get the regular edition and live without the in-game pet and the other stuff. It'll all end up gathering dust on your coffee table anyway. And as others say, you'll probably be able to get them for less in the future if you really need one.

It was available this morning ~11:50 a.m. CST through normal Amazon.com for the normal price...
with release date delivery cost me ~$75 US.

Sorry to say but this is the reason I preordered 5 of them. Mainly cause I didn't know if my brother would want one and I have some friends who have bdays coming up heh. But mostly so I could gouge a couple people and pay for a few months of the game hehe. I did it with the Vanilla WoW and TBC (both were up there closer to the launch of the game and TBC has only recently dropped to the under 90 place...I would also argue that it is at least 30 extra bucks so 2 months of "free" game time :) ).
