A very noble intent by all involved, but a horrid horrid server choice. Honestly, this is one of the highest populated servers already. (Blizzard has said it is in the top 10 - although I don't have a quote since the post was deleted - warcraft realms shows the census as 15th population overall, but short on Horde submissions.) What's more, the server is part of a server farm (Ruin) that has a large number of highly populated realms on it since it is so old. (These servers all date back to December 2004)

I really wish some forethought would have been put into the server choice. From a hardware perspective it was literally the absolute worst choice possible. Again, a noble intent, perhaps next time try not to choose the most populated server and server farm, reegardless of when you go.
