Level 80 forum icons revealed

We've learned that new forum icons are available today for level 80 players. Not that anyone is level 80 yet, and not that you can actually post in the forums. But they're there and we have compiled them into a gallery for your easy viewing pleasure.I like the Alliance ones the best. Some of the Horde ones seem rather underwhelming.
The forums recently underwent an upgrade to Wrath of the Lich King graphics, and are now all nice and icy blue. The zombies even invaded the forums for a brief time, but it seem they have been driven back.

It seems like the horde ones aren't the actual 80 icons. Note the lack of armor and the starting clothing on the avatars. They also lack the spell effects of the 80 alliance. Perhaps they just finished the Alliance before the Horde icons?

The lvl 80 Horde icons are up on the forums, however pictures used for this gallery were incorrect and the low level ones are on here.

Make sure to select the 'Level 80 Icons' tab for both the Alliance and Horde sections.

Can the Horde please get level 80 icons instead of no-armor level 1 newb icons?
A least go back to the T2 icons from L60!

Whoever took the screenshots of this: You have to click on the "Level 80" tab on the Horde list to view the 80 icons...lol. They look similar to the Alliance ones. Wow, epic fail. haha

I like the Troll icons the best. Am a little disappointed in the Undead ones.

Sorry about that folks, we've been having problems with our software updating posts and images all day. All this lovely traffic is playing games with our backend software. I've replaced everything with a new image gallery, and this one should be correct.

Alot of the armors overall for both factions are obscured by way too much lighting effects - I can barely make out the Hunter armors on most of these >_

I really don't like the style of these. The only one I find tolerable is the Dwarven female paladin, and I don't have one of those.

Sweet! Kind of a strange thing to be excited about, but the new forum avatars are some of my favorite things about a new expansion xD
