Wrath 101: When will Wrath be playable, exactly? [Updated]

This Wrath 101 is very simple yet very important.

When can I exactly play this game I've been hearing about for 471 days*?

The answer can be made more complicated than you want to know. The short answer is at midnight in your respective time zones.

More complicated answers:

  • Eastern Time Zone: 12:00:00 a.m. on Thursday November 13th, 2008
  • Central Time Zone: 11:00:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 12th, 2008
  • Mountain Time Zone: 10:00:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 12th, 2008
  • Pacific Time Zone: 9:00:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 12th, 2008
  • GMT: Thursday November 13th, 2008 05:00:00 for you east coasters.
  • Unix Time: 1226552400 for you east coasters.
We've received this information from Zarhym. Many people have asked, without answer, if this means if you're on a pacific timezone server you'll need to wait until 12:00 a.m. server time to head to Northrend. We don't know the answer to that, but it could go either way. We'll just have to wait and see.

*The first rumors of Wrath of the Lich King came out on July 31st, 2007. According to timeanddate.com, that's 471 days of Wrath information, including today. It should be noted that 471 has exactly four positive whole number factors: 1, 3, 157, and 471. Now if my numerology is correct, that means it only has two pairs of factors, and this is the second expansion. Clearly something is going on here...
