The World (of Warcraft) is full, please come back later

The estimated wait time will fluctuate back and forth depending on the frequency in which players log off or leave the queue in frustration.
Perhaps the biggest thing we need to worry about this expansion is not server down time, but the phenomenal amount of players wanting to get in the game.
If Blizzard has any announcement about this, or solutions (other than transferring realms) we'll keep you updated here. Other than that... good luck getting in.

Ah good ole queue times. Throw in server instability and its the first release day all over again.
hENNIFER pANTALON Nov 13th 2008 10:56PM
I sense they may have tuned the servers down to be able to say "look, it's smooth going!" - fine by me, it's still a shit-ton of people. I've got to wait - at least THINGS AREN'T BROKEN! 8)

hennifer is right. I believe they turned down the max limits on many - if not all servers - so that they would not crash. Waiting an hour to play or not playing at all? I think I'll wait.
Longest wait times I've ever seen on Kargath, but no server crashes and very little lag. It was fantastic.

I had a queue of 54 logging on Kael'Thas at 6pm pacific time. True, that is not very long at all compared to some but it is the first time I have seen a queue since rolling on that realm 3 years ago. Wild.

Zuluhed's always open. 12 guys on the server, no waiting!
Quill2006 Nov 14th 2008 3:32AM
Ah, good old Zuluhed: immediate entry, no lag, and enough mobs to go around.
Honestly, though, 12? I saw at least 20 in Borean Tundra. ;)
I've been playing on low-pop servers for so long that it never occurred to me that people might have to wait! Everyone else laughs at the low-pops while we happily play.
Good luck to everyone; hope the waits go away soon.

No waiting on Coilfang either. Just don't roll Alliance, or you'll be overrun. On second thought, go ahead and roll a Gnome. We need more sport!
Muahahaha!
Todd Nov 14th 2008 1:26PM
Yeah I'm on a low pop too and no waiting at all. Even at the height we still had planty of quest mobs to go around too.
If you don't want to wait an hour or two to log on then don't play on high pop servers. It is not Blizzards fault! They have given you a lot of options to transfer off to other servers.

1200 deep for my que. GG Blizz for not adressing this pre expansion. Some quests aren't able to be completed because of how many people there are. I know some of this is normal, but 1200 people in a que??
Heilig Nov 13th 2008 11:01PM
1754 on Doomhammer.
I would transfer to the free realm if it weren't for all my mail in transit :(

"GG Blizz for not adressing this pre expansion"
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if they reduced the max number per server for the patch to help improve stability. That's just a wild ass guess though.
Dwayne Nov 13th 2008 9:22PM
Blackhand, at 6pm had a que of 1004! WooHoo!
The_Reflection Nov 13th 2008 9:37PM
I'm on Dark Iron and I haven't seen a realm queue since pre-bc. This is crazy.
Rihlsul Nov 13th 2008 9:22PM
899 on Area 52 /sigh. Long enough wait that I came back to this site with their insane 30% or less content width.
jsk2025 Nov 13th 2008 9:24PM
Que of 750 on Arygos. :/
Tiberiusxix Nov 13th 2008 9:27PM
I've been in queue for two hours now. Was at 1600 when I first started.
Mal'Ganis...
Ugh
gerry Nov 13th 2008 9:49PM
and why did i wait outside best buy last night for 3 hours just to come home from work today and be 1100th in line on medivh...hmmm, why did i even waste 40 bucks on this right now if i cant play.
John Nov 13th 2008 9:27PM
582 right now for Twisting Nether. We're usually a med pop realm too.
frozndevl Nov 13th 2008 9:27PM
over 1100 at one point on Cho'gall-US
Silverfire Nov 13th 2008 9:30PM
Upwards of 1100 on Hellscream-US. And I thought waiting while at work all day was the hardest part...
