The World (of Warcraft) is full, please come back later

The estimated wait time will fluctuate back and forth depending on the frequency in which players log off or leave the queue in frustration.
Perhaps the biggest thing we need to worry about this expansion is not server down time, but the phenomenal amount of players wanting to get in the game.
If Blizzard has any announcement about this, or solutions (other than transferring realms) we'll keep you updated here. Other than that... good luck getting in.

Are there any goldspamers logged in right now? cuz they are taking up valuable population slots! Would be nice to know if they could quick-boot em... and feed em to that frost dragon!

My realm (Carine) didnt have any issues when I was getting in toinght. Thankfully, they allowed my realm to be part of a free transfer out a few months back, as it was common everyday before then. Good job Blizzard!

it's so bad, when I got fed up and rolled a night elf on the new server (Grizzly Hills), the number of people in just the very beginning of the starting area crashed my computer.

Ghostlands at 130 at 6:45PM. It dropped fast, not even 10 minutes

I can not recall the last time I saw a log in queue on Exodar... I think this is the first time as Exodar was a new realm for BC.

I've never seen my server have a queue time, ever. Admittedly I've only been playing for a year, but still. They did an awesome job advertising this expansion.
Saladen Nov 13th 2008 10:02PM
muradin is around 116 deep now
Duart Nov 13th 2008 10:05PM
What is a full server anyway? how many total or how many in each side?
Popes Nov 13th 2008 10:07PM
346 on Uther. I signed on right after work at 5 Central with no queue, but now after I'm back from errands, there is one. Weak.
Pugnacious Nov 13th 2008 10:09PM
WTF! I've been playing for years, and this is the absolute first time i've ever seen this....
Omestes Nov 13th 2008 11:19PM
It happened a lot for the first 4-5 months after the original release. Haven't seen any of it since BC came out though, and I'm on an old heavily populated server (Kargath).
I'm glad I was 920 with 20 minutes, and now I'm 489 with 18 minutes. The math doesn't pop.
Karalita Nov 13th 2008 10:10PM
9:30pm on Blackhand had a que of 1289. 40 minutes later it's down to 206. Only 10 more minutes till i can finally get on....
Azthioth Nov 13th 2008 10:12PM
Even if you can get on, it's lag hell. I made it on after an hour of handshacking and the was promply booted.
You would think Blizz would have seen this coming. Don't tell me to switch realms jackasses, get better servers. Or, offer guild transfers, not just individuals
Leva Nov 13th 2008 10:58PM
Well I was getting queues *last week* on Amun' Full of around 300 can't imagine what its going to be like there this weekend.
-j Nov 13th 2008 10:16PM
I guess 300/15 minutes on Moonrunner isn't awful in comparison...
Colarm Nov 13th 2008 10:17PM
strange.. im on US Suramar...
always seemed like a medium sized, not so busy kind of server. but im currently number 244.. been waiting for about 20min now.
(i know, i know. not so bad compared to others. but its still surprising to me)
Hesston Nov 13th 2008 11:20PM
I'm installing right now, but I'm almost wondering what's the point. Then again, this is to be expected. Just a testament at how great all of this is.
Nagi Nov 13th 2008 10:24PM
500+ queue for Moon Guard, 700+ queue for Dark Iron, looks like I won't be touching any of my mains for a while.
Of course, with 800+ queue for Earthen Ring and 700+ queue for Staghelm, it looks like I can't even play with my > 30 alts that I haven't touched in almost a year, either.
Glad I got in on the midnight launch of Wrath and at least got a death knugget to Orgrimmar. Seems it'll be the only Wrath I get to play for a few...months.

You know I'm a little surprised at the fact that people weren't expecting long queues to log in tonight. There were huge queues upon the launch of The Burning Crusade too - I remember 1000+ queues, and hour long wait times, on TBC launch day on Cenarius too (it's about 1400 deep right now). However, I also remember that by the weekend most of the queues had dissipated and it was basically back to normal in terms of queue length.
Although, given that there are a higher percentage of endgame players now than there were back in 2006 for TBC's launch, it's very possible that the queues now are worse than back then.
