The estimated wait time will fluctuate back and forth depending on the frequency in which players log off or leave the queue in frustration.
Perhaps the biggest thing we need to worry about this expansion is not server down time, but the phenomenal amount of players wanting to get in the game.
If Blizzard has any announcement about this, or solutions (other than transferring realms) we'll keep you updated here. Other than that... good luck getting in.

Is it possible that they artificially limited the server populations to maintain server stability? Kul Tiras has never, ever had a queue before.

Too bad Blizzard sent emails to every toon about the mail issue, regardless of whether or not they had any mail lost or I would transfer one of my toons right now. But I can't because the toon shows mail in the system.

Remember that there are different pricing structures throughout the world, so it's not quite the bonanza that you might think. I don't know that they quite anticipated this....I think maybe all those A0C, WAR, Vanguard defectors might have come back for a taste......

840-something on Shadow Council. About a 35 minute wait expected, but I'm not optimistic. And I'd been grumpy about the 40-50 person queues we've had popping up on the weekends lately... silly me...
This is a little ridiculous.

Frostwolf has -NEVER- had a queue to log in, and I've been on the realm for two plus years. It's almost always a medium population server. Now, all of a sudden, it's full? I can't imagine this is just an influx of players. I think something's up.

Somehow, I'm not too surprised. I've been playing this game for almost 4 yrs(not counting the 8 month break I had) and I've seen this before. A few times, mostly around expansion time. I've seen it w/ EQ, DAoC, WoW and EQ2 when they have expansions. I can't tell you what Draenor's queue time is due to my lack of wanting to stress it. So, I'm inviting a friend over for a lil bit of Rock Band.
It'll calm down soon. Give it about a week or two. I know for some this will seem like forever, but it isn't so bad. I am getting all kinds of flashbacks to the Opening of AQ event though(more like the great AQ Server crash).

800 person queue on Cenarion Circle. 45 minute wait. First time I've ever seen a queue in over 10 months here.

1442 on Doomhammer at 9:00 pm. And guaranteed when you get on the lag in Hellfire will be nuts due to the close to 100 DK's that were there at noon

I can't believe anyone is surprised by a queue tonight. Seriously. The game came out TODAY. Relax. I know it sucks, but you'll just have to be patient.
