Speaking of a third faction, I think it would be great for the storyline to end up involving a third group at some point that players can join. Something that would even give alliance and horde players the ability to communicate with each other should they be in the same faction, at the cost of perhaps rep or some other detail.

This just stems from my Blood Elf's desire in the past to join the SSO and, of course, being unable to talk to half of the members if she even carried her goal out.
