Bat boy steals Wrath
Bat Boy, everyone's favorite tabloid freak, has gotten in on the Wrath of the Lich King fervor -- unfortunately, he's too young (and creepy) to actually earn money, so instead he reportedly (reported by the Weekly World News, of course, your number one source for Bat Boy news) scared a Warcraft fan, causing him to drop his copy, and sending Bat Boy off to Northrend to level up to 80 with the rest of us. You can add "stealing the expansion" to the list of crimes Bat Boy's already perpetrated.
Bat Boy could not be reached for comment for this story, which is too bad -- we really wanted to know what class the West Virginia legend plays (is that an Undead Warlock on the screen? And why doesn't he have any skills on his action bars?), and whether he started in Howling Fjord or Borean Tundra.
Thanks, JPM!

First off, even if Bat Boy was old enough to earn money, who would hire him? Secondly, according to the Weekly World News article, Bat Boy "... explores the vast expanses of Northrend with fellow dwarf friends Bilbong and Glugnus." How can he explore Northrend with two dwarves when he is obviously undead? Someone needs to slap weekly world news for exploiting this poor mutant and editing him into a picture of a desktop and an undead enjoying a battleground window.

I'm sure there is a universe out there somewhere where this might actually be considered funny. I doubt this is it, though.

WWN is the most famous "wacky" news magazine. It has "Dick Cheney is a robot!" or "Frankenstein found disco dancing at Stockholm!" stories that are really quite amusing to read. Their photoshops of such events are really awesome as well.
Batboy is a popular character of theirs, because of Fark I'd imagine.
It's funny, but the humor definitely isn't for everyone.

Is that rag actually meant to be funny though? To me, it's always seemed like it was trying to exploit people too paranoid and/or stupid to understand that every word and picture inside are fake.

Umm, what the hell?

I'm betting Bat Boy plays an alliance paladin.

I found Batboys new location, he could not be reached for comment because he's been taking private insrtuction at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Escondido. When he saw us approaching he spun out in the Obamamobile and with the first puppy. Crazy Batboy.
