Here's my query:

A day or two before the release, I was watching Xplay's segment on WotLK and they were showing off DK footage. I clearly saw gnomes on pony-sized deathchargers and I happily squeeeeeeeed.

When I actually received my deathcharger, I was sad and confused that my gnome didn't have a deathpony. Anyone know what's up with that?

Back during Beta, on the 'fetch a horse to turn into a Deathcharger' quest there used to be foals that you could bring back instead - that would turn into tiny ponies you were riding. I don't think that 'stuck' through completing the quest, though.

Might have been removed since, I've been too busy leveling my main to check!

My Gnomish DK confirms that the ponies are still there. Alas, they turn into regular Deathchargers and not Deathponies.

The Deathcharger's stirrups are about a yard below your feet as a Gnomish DK. Fun times...
