WoW minis are out

I found it to be a lot of fun, and probably would get involved in it if I had a friend I could also sucker into it, but no dice so far. Plus, it's two hobbies in one -- not only do you get a fun strategy game (that's surprisingly versatile -- you can play with more than two players if you like, and your victory points requirements are based on your characters, not the opposing sides', so you can play with whatever characters you like), but you also get to collect some cool minature reproductions of some of Warcraft's most famous faces. Good deal. Have you checked the game out yet, or is it something you're interested in?

If these were higher quality figures I might want them more. I like the DC line of figures... But there's no "me" figures. They're all characters from the comic.
I can't be the only one who wants generic warrior Draenei or such figure with changeable hair or horns for customization >.> Something better than figure prints would win me over. (And cheaper, too...)

I played the game at my comic shop during our weekly WoW TCG night. It was entertaining...but very slow. Very, very slow.

Im always a sucker for these things. I picked up the starter set when I was at the midnight launch of wrath. I thought that the detail of the figures was satisfactory. The bases are complete garbage. I went to the UDE forums to see if I was the only one. I wasent. Most people recommend using pen and paper to keep track of what the bases of the figures would be used for.
I dont know who the hell thought that burying the figures health almost a 1/4 into the base was a good idea. There is no way to see it from any normal angel you would be playing from.
All in all, I like it. I think there is an opportunity for someone to do a good base for these.
