I've tried Find Treasure a couple of times for various quests; no luck.I know it used to work in BC, for things such as Zepplin Parts and Ravager Eggs, but I haven't found anything in WotLK that shows up.

Likewise. There are a few I tried to Track Treasure on which could be trackable with something else (eg, crystalsong carrots for the cooking daily with herbalism?) but I have yet to find a quest in northrend which tracks with the dwarven racial. Not even the chest containing crystals for the Oracles daily shows up. Granted, I blazed my way to 80 so it may be lost in a sleep-deprived haze.

This is slightly related: Track herbs doesn't work for every quest with items that are definitely flowers or herbs. It seems completely random which ones it works for and which ones it doesn't. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an oversight on Blizzard's part.

They were not in the Burning Crusade expansion for quite some time either. After a patch, they randomly started appearing again. What I think is happening is that they are waiting for an appropriate amount of folks to get to the level cap so that they won't be constantly farmed for case.Runic Healing Pots = $$$ on my server at the moment. When the prices start to drop, then they can implement them again so that they don't throw the economy out of whack prematurely.

Why is it that tanks are always the group leaders? Why are we always expected to mark mobs? Every time I get in a group to tank for it I will always get thrown the leader. I don't really mind, but at least once I want to get in a group where someone else was willing to mark for me, instead of the other way around.

Usually tanks like to choose their targets, I know I do.
