TwentyFifthNovember becomes Ensidia
The merger between Nihilum and SK Gaming that was temporarily known as TwentyFifthNovember (who has already cleared all current Wrath content) has announced their new name. Ensidia. There are some neat details they've announced with their name, such as launching a community site soon and all of that, but none of that is particularly important. What's important is their new name sounds like some kind of medicine or drug. Every corner of the internet is currently giggling to themselves over it. A professional gaming group? No way. They're some kind of sleep aid, or erectile dysfunction medication. I've seen at least a dozen people rattling off potential side effects of taking Ensidia tonight. I'm not really curious about their raid progression anymore, I'm more interested in whether I can take it on an empty stomach or not.

HEY GUYS!
I JUST STARTED A NEW GUILD.
CAN YOU WRITE AN ARTICLE ON IT FOR ME.
Warcloud Nov 25th 2008 2:02AM
Is your new guild the #1 progression guild?
Thiosion Nov 24th 2008 9:34PM
Can't you see what's happening here? The sides are forming. Ensidia is the amalgamation of Tigole's past ideals in corporeal form. Despite what Ready Check may have said, these are the hardest of the hardcore. These are the ones who don't feel they're raiding until the hear nerdscreams on vent at 2AM when they clear the first boss of an instance and shard all it's loot.
Ok, maybe I'm predicting the end of the world because it sounds way more awesome that way, but mark my words: Ensidia is heralding a new age for World of Warcraft. The schism between Hardcores and Casuals has been just an argument for the last few years, but we're on the verge of something terrible.

First, don't care.
Second, what a shitty name.

if you got paid to play wow and be the first to conquer its content...how fast do you think you could do it? pretty fast indeed. nothing surprising here, every niche has its psychotic section of people.
but getting SPONSORED to play wow? kinda taking the fun out of it for legit players dont you think?
draeth Nov 24th 2008 10:04PM
I could think of much worse ways to make a buck. I mean think about it, playing WoW...for money....
We pay money to play the game every week, the idea of getting paid to play is someone's wet dream.
Valis Nov 24th 2008 10:09PM
A guild thats paid to play makes them something 'other' than the average player....
I'll be happy for the non-sponsored guild when they finally finish the end game wrath content.
MarkDeMan Nov 25th 2008 4:13AM
I like the news trivia, hate the name (the originals were far better) and to tell the truth, naming yourself after your sponser (citation needed) kinda sucks.
Gold Farmers are professionals too, but we do not seem to be praising them?
I bet there is a Guild of Gold farmers, farming WotLK already and they have a far cooler name, like CTRL+ALT+ELITE or something!
Perhaps next step is the Union of Professional WOW players, ........... on Strike?
Richwarf Nov 24th 2008 9:55PM
LOL.
Free drugs any one ???
raikun Nov 24th 2008 9:58PM
Do they seriously need fanboys for beating the game?
I remember all I got was a beer and free pretzels when I beat the Tetris Arcade machine in my local watering hole.
I'm ready for my article in Tetris Insider now plz
draeth Nov 24th 2008 10:02PM
Haha that's funny, was this recently or back in the 80's? if it was recently, kodos for playing tetris in a bar and if it was back in the 80's than good lord you are 40 something.
Raikun Nov 24th 2008 10:04PM
I'm sure you mean Kudos, good sir. I don't think I could fit one kodo in my apartment, let alone several.
PS: I'm 30
draeth Nov 24th 2008 10:07PM
haha got WoW on the brain obviously, yes I meant kudos
ryan Nov 24th 2008 10:29PM
I play WOW for entertainment but I would NEVER want it to become a "profession". Anything that turns into a job isn't fun!
Gonks Nov 24th 2008 10:52PM
This is like tabloids for WoW... kind of sad, really.
Telerion Nov 24th 2008 11:09PM
I can't tell how much I REALLY don't care.
Enough already.
epsilon343 Nov 24th 2008 11:24PM
Why isn't this in Guildwatch? I'm sure the people who care already know about this change, and the people who don't really care (me) would've found out in an article that was worth reading.
Now all we've got is a single post about a group of dudes who are sponsored to play a VIDEO GAME and make comments about how awesome they are and how bad I am. NEXT!
JD Nov 24th 2008 11:33PM
I stopped caring about these people a long time ago.
They are a guild whose members were all undoubtedly in on the beta because of who they are..... and we are supposed to give a %@ when they are the first to clear all WOTLK content? big f'ing deal.
Wow you did something you've already done?! Likely more than once?!
Chamber Nov 24th 2008 11:38PM
I can see why this was posted as front page news, but it does feel a little like were slipping into the realm of WOW celebrity.
I can let this one go but if we get 'KUNGEN SPOTTED EATING WITH VURTNE!!" i might start to lose the plot.
Woth reading just for the name though.
