TwentyFifthNovember becomes Ensidia
The merger between Nihilum and SK Gaming that was temporarily known as TwentyFifthNovember (who has already cleared all current Wrath content) has announced their new name. Ensidia. There are some neat details they've announced with their name, such as launching a community site soon and all of that, but none of that is particularly important. What's important is their new name sounds like some kind of medicine or drug. Every corner of the internet is currently giggling to themselves over it. A professional gaming group? No way. They're some kind of sleep aid, or erectile dysfunction medication. I've seen at least a dozen people rattling off potential side effects of taking Ensidia tonight. I'm not really curious about their raid progression anymore, I'm more interested in whether I can take it on an empty stomach or not.

Do we mean best guild or largest collection of no-lifers in the game. Its sad.....seriously. I really don't care and sure WI is trying to kiss someones butt here.

I don't see how a sponsorship like this would be beneficial to a company. I agree they are incredible players, but I dont see Blizzard releasing content often enough, that would grant this guild publicity for themselves or the company.
And timing FTL, shouldn't they have changed their guild name before WOTLK so that the new guild name (and company) get recognition (and publicity) for their world firsts.

Gotta go with the whiners on this one. Why is this news? Well, I guess it's news in the most literal definition of the word - information that is topical - but it's not really news as we come to expect from WoW Insider - stuff that matters about the game.
I have absolutely nothing in common with anyone from 25 November. Professional sponsorship? Blitzing through content? I could care less that they changed their name, unless it's to "Annoying Speed Freaks". And the definition of best guild is a very subjective one - I would argue pre 3.0 that a small ten or fifteen person guild that could manage a full ZA clear with all guildies showed just as much mastery of the game as a group of uber-players that brute force their way through content.
As for their community site, who cares? A community site created by people who have seen 5% of the Wrath content - that will be awesome! Remind me to bookmark that along with 15 other community sites out there run by guilds/groups, all of which already have a realistic hook.
You've kissed up now, WoW Insider. We can move on.

Grats to them and clearing, but I wouldn't call them a guild like all of us. Just the same category as game testers in any other game out there. No reason to care about their transition to this new company. Now Wowinsider, start reporting on realm achievements from guilds completing raids and not from a business like Ensidia now. my 2 cents.

Side effects of Ensidia include you no longer having a life.
Honestly, if I see one more posting about these guys I am going to need a drug for nausea. Who cares?

OMG... People, this is about money!! Do you think that Blizzard cares about 100 people on a guild or 13 millions of bad players? If you cleared WOTLK already, good for you!! I am still 75, playing 3 hours a day because I have a life, a job, a GF and friends.... and who cares that I am 75??? nobody... Everybody pays, everybody plays... If you find the expansion bad, go away and stop playing, disband your guild and get a vagina for the first time.... Or Play Hello Kitty...
/^Peace$/

I love their comments about the end-game being so easy and how worried they are.
Hats off to them, they are the best guild out there that plays WoW, but I think that the claim is a bit ridiculous - it's like Tiger Woods complaining that a golf course is too easy - yes, it might be for him as it's a professional - and genius sportsman - but for 99% of the population, it's probably pretty challenging!

Ensidia probably derives from latin:

Have fun...

This is the only time I've cared about a post about those guys b/c this post is pretty funny :)

Is anyone upset/worried about the fact that they are being sponsored by a group from Dubai? Call it racist if you want, but that is the same country that jailed a Russian couple for drinking orange juice in public because of an Islamic holiday. People in the US complain about separation of church and state... why is it okay elsewhere?
Hugo Nov 26th 2008 1:19PM
Wow, a lot of whiners here. I rather hear about worlds best guild (and yeah everyone else sucks compared to them) than here about wow bloggers lvl 72 Rogue (yeah, most writers on Wowinsiders are real noobs)
Seriously, this is like one of the few news in WOW that just have to be on every WOW news site. This is real news. Seriously, but some people here are just jealous, or just irritated that USA cannot get a good guild together.

"What's important is their new name sounds like some kind of medicine or drug..."
Bah, here in finland we use medicine called "Burana", "Panadol", "Toclase" etc. and the guild doesn't sound like medicine at all. It's very artistic name I think.
Farseer Nov 28th 2008 5:17PM
Ofc this is news! When the two top PvE teams merge it is news, even the fact that they change the name is news. If they get sponsored, good for them! (Not sure why someone would pay though...).
I found some enjoyment in following the competition to world firsts, so yes, what Ensidia does in the future isn't that interesting as they don't have any competition. How fast they clear stuff is of no interest to me either.
Blowing thru two years of development work on a game I've been playing for 4 years in two days isn't the way I play either, but why people whine about this is beyond me. Why does this lessen your gaming experience?
I've enjoyed the new lore in Northrend with my (atm 75) main. Had a taste of DK (63) and still know that I got ample of time to get through stuff, before next expansion.
In conclusion, what Ensidia does or do not do doesn't affect my gaming and to a lesser extent be part of my interest. If you have to whine about someone else and their doings, you should get some self-esteem (and a life) of your own.

I have to wonder if the company who is backing them is Xische. In the CSS file, the author is listed as Xische. When I looked it up, I found that Xische is from Dubai.
http://www.xische.com/
Looks like they do digital communications, advertising, branding, serious site creation, etc.
I wonder what they'd want with a guild?

A bunch of morons posting comments here. This is not a brainless, thoughtless post about eilitists jerks. Although I really don't think Ensidia sounds like a medication, and actually prefer the name, this article was not on guildwatch because many people (including myself) are interested in seeing what the best people in the game are doing. There was substantial interest in the news, so they gave it it's own post. If your not interested, don't read the article. That simple. And for those trying to make Ensidia members sound like self-centered, overrated jerks, they have a right to call themselves elite. They are the best raiders in the game, and many people are just plain jealous. So congrats Ensidia, and for all the users who posted negative comments, grow a pair.

Iam sure that if ur guild was the first to clear all wrath content You would have a little excitment.
On second hand If you'd rathre not care about there achievments then dont look them up ;)
Third.... Gratz to TwentyfifthNovember aka Ensidia a very commited team working Hordy guild
