Felicia Day on meeting girls in WoW
Felicia Day is a girl. Felicia Day plays WoW. Felicia Day tells boys how to meet girls in WoW. If that just didn't get the attention of every hormone-infused-female-liking nerd on the planet I don't know what will.Felicia say down with the Asylum and talked about this topic for a bit. Their interview with her touches on a few interesting points.
"Would it matter if the guy's a noob?" Asylum asks. "Yeah..." Felicia answers. She goes on to mention that the difference is like seeing a guy in a Ferrari. Not being a total noob and having some good gear at least catches the eye. This makes me and all my purples happy.
The interview is an interesting and entertaining read. Hit it up when you have a minute and enjoy.
And stay tuned to WoW Insider for more news on Felicia Day and The Guild. She'll be sitting down with Mike Schramm and a few folks on our podcast soon talking about Season 2 and Wrath of the Lich King.

Sure she is cute. But can she make Wow themed cakes?
hENNIFER pANTALON Nov 26th 2008 1:05PM
I hope all the young men are aiming higher than "meeting some wow chick.."
Besides, does anyone give two craps what this ho be thinking, spouting or misdirecting after they sold their soul?
Golddiggers are golddiggers, WoW playing or not. One of the major reasons she's so popular is... HER ATTRACTIVE FACE.
If she was as fat and ugly as "the mom" in the series, it'd be bottom of the barrel shit. But prepubescent boys love to fap, so .. werd up princess! You've hit the jackpot! Now use your internet fame to drum up some old fashioned ho speak.
Society := Society - 1.
We had a guild mate hook up with another guild mate, who broke up with a guild mate to be with the first guildmate.
1-2 months later, she was back with her ex. Turns out it's expensive to fly from Texas to LA so the relationship went south (not literally).
Guys, all the power to you, but please.. enough of this princess.

I met my Girlfriend in real life. I got her into WoW about 2 years ago. I did the reverse.

If having basic social capabilities is cool... then yes I am cool.
Thanks for the words.

"I met my Girlfriend in real life. I got her into WoW about 2 years ago. I did the reverse."
I keep trying to talk my wife into doing 'the reverse' but she tells me I'm disgusting and it's never going to happen.
Maybe if I get to play WoW, then she'll let me! Thanks for the tip!

Is that an epic sword, or are you just happy to see me?

She's clearly qualified.

Women are much worse then men when it comes to playing WoW respectfully.
Women are notorious are ninjaing stuff and causing raid wipes with poor healing (all women are wither Rogues or Healers) and then sending you a /wink and a /lick to try and calm the situation.
And when they get on vent and making moaning sounds, it's just another weapon in their arsenal.
They know who they are. They know they've got us wrapped around their fingers. They use their gender to accumulate power and riches within guilds - then they leave us lonely and broke.
Calaana Nov 25th 2008 4:28PM
Whilst female, I hardly think the term "woman" or even "girl" can be applied to them... whore is about as nice as one can get.
As for the males involved.. while temptation is a very attractive fruit, grow some balls instead of thinking with them.
Troll? Maybe, but your stupid either way.
Get out of my gender, race and reality, thanks.
Serahvin Nov 25th 2008 4:30PM
I've never met a girl like that in-gmae.
sezmra Nov 25th 2008 4:38PM
For the record. There are lots of girls(like me) out there, who aren't like this. There are exceptions to every rule.
I much rather get my gear MYSELF thank you very much. Help if you want. Don't hand me gold and expect me to "^_^" at you.
I also don't base someone's worth on what kind of gear they have. In fact, I'll totally prefer someone who works well with average gear than a jerk in epics. So, I don't agree with Miss Day on that one.
Naix Nov 25th 2008 4:39PM
You have to call them out on it. Don't let them pull the girl card by flirting, breathing hard, or whatever.
They will respect you more if you don't put up with that.

I like how post because you disagree with his generalization that women are bad, then you make a generalization that everyone in epics are "jerks".

Sorry, bro, but I have to disagree with you 100%. The women I game with are as competent and fun to play with as any man I've played with. When I put a Heroic group together, my first choices for tank and healer are both women, because they're the best players I know, period.
If you let a woman manipulate you, that's weak-mindedness on your part.
Bad behavior has no gender. It's how you deal with it that's going to determine the way things turn out when someone behaves badly, and it sounds like you let women walk over you. If they're bad healers, call them out. If they ninja an item, call them out. The 50s are over.
Mephator Nov 25th 2008 4:59PM
Sounds like somebody is bad with the ladies and is bitter about it.

wow a misogynist, how original

Not true. She didn't generalise, but simply said that she would rather play with skilled people than jerks; purples or not.
Saying that I'd rather talk to a happy poor guy, than a boring rich guy isn't generalising - It's just an example to indicate what you value the most in a person
