The tank deal, its just part of a consiracy between the DPS to pass the job to the tank.
They could mark and decide pulls themselves and just let the tank know, many times I had to help inexperienced tnaks like that.
Its not hard.
But they dont want to do it so they pass the job to the tank.

If I'm in a good experienced group, as a tank I actually prefer someone else who knows the fights well to do it so I can just do my job and have less on my plate. If I take skull everytime or skull and diamond or whatever, just mark em up and let me go get em.
Besides my Intelligence is only 33. *drools*

were you being sarcastic or are you kind of an idiot?
I'll bite just in case it's the later. Unless you're helping an inexperienced tank learn it's much faster and more efficient to have him mark the mobs he wants to tank himself instead of having someone else do it and then explain their thoughts.
It's part of a tanks job. Don't like it, don't be a tank.

And that is why people don't like to be tanks. All the DPS show up, and turn off their brains, while the tank marks, but its insane for a tank to let a DPS mark, and not think for a run? that sounds fair.
Maybe you should expand your horizons a little. Explaining why a tank is going to tank a mob for a certain fight is exactly the same as a tank explaining to the DPS why they are killing the target they are killing. Stop being lazy.
