Give each crowd controller a specific symbol. For my mage, moon is always sheep. Rogues are x for sap. Hunters have blue square for frost trap. Skull for kill first, star for kill second (if there are enough mobs) and have the tank call out which mob to attack. Usually sheeps are last. And it's really not as hard as you think. Instances are a lot of fun, and it sounds like you're all excited to go! My guild uses ventrilo which makes things a WHOLE lot easier. The nice thing is you all obviously know each other, so any wipes can be handled with grace and yes, laughter, as you're all learning. One of the best things in my raid experience has been my raid leader (kudos to you Moose) who makes all things fun, even wipes. He is positive, encouraging, and never gets angry at anyone. He keeps us all moving (you have enough mana for a polymorph right?) We got into the habit of /rolling for blame, which makes the 25 man learning wipes on gruul's, the eye, and ssc so very much fun. Because many times a wipe isn't one person's fault, and the /roll is one time you don't want to roll high!Everybody who has posted had very good things to say, I really can't think of anything else. Hope it went well for you.
