On the subject of loot, make sure that your group has discussed loot rules before going in. Saves arguments and hurt feelings, and makes ground rules MUCH clearer. One of my petty gripes is people who start looting mobs while the tank/melee dps are still fighting. First, it's rather inconsiderate, second it puts a need/greed/pass loot window right up in your sight, and for melee fighters that's pretty freaking annoying.I would also second, and third, and fourth, marking targets and doing a ready check. My experience has been warriors mark more than pallies. Other people's experience may be different, and I assume it's due to the difference in warrior/pally fight style. But have a consideration for the rest of your party, and mark those bodies!
