Lake Wintergrasp Hotfix

Nethaera announced today a hotfix that was applied over the holidays last week. There were issues in Lake Wintergrasp, the level 80 realm PvP zone, that prevented "objects" changing factions. This has now been fixed.This included things like the teleport pads outside the base and several NPCs. Because of this bug people were often times only able to attempt the raid boss once. When the group wiped they went to the teleport pat to zone back in. It didn't work. However now it does, and people can be happy.
This comes from a post entitled "November / December Hotfixes," so we're assuming that there'll be more of them on their way. We'll keep you updated.

Good. I died a little inside after one Wintergrasp battle. We fought our little hearts out, broke down the walls, and made it into the keep. And despite our attempts to click the object for the win, it didn't work. The win defaulted to the defending team. Khaaaaaan!

It cracks me up that they are just now fixing that bug when it was very prevalent in Beta and reported probably every other match when it happened.

The latest fix on a long list of bugs that have been in since beta.
We had to summon people through the door at least once... good thing a Warlock didn't release.

Hey, you know what might be a cool known bug to fix? How about player who can't get in the damned instance because they CANT FIT THROUGH THE DOOR. Yes that's right, since only about five players in history have ever rolled female tauren blizzard doesn't see fit to make doors tall enough for them to fit through.

I don't understand all the comments on the female tauren "shortage". There are plenty of female tauren on my server. Sucks that you guys can't get through the door, though.

Unfortunately, the issue with female taurens not fitting through the door will require an actual patch, rather than just a hotfix. There are many female taurens on my server, and many unhappy people. I realize that making a game is complicated and I usually don't worry about issues until they have gone on for some time, but this is just stupid. It shouldn't have even happened to be reported in Beta, let alone made it live. Environmental objects, especially openings we are supposed to walk through, should be checked with the tallest model (female tauren) and the widest one (probably male tauren, could be orcs).

Luckily, our only female Taurens are Druids. Free shrinkies. :-)

OMG NICK YOU ARE A GENIUOS. I mean I just stood in front of the door crying, I in no way tried everything possible to get through it. That has to be about the stupidest comment I have ever seen. No, changing form does not make you any shorter, and no there is NO WAY for us to get out the door. That includes potions such as noggenfogger in case you had any other bright ideas.
If this were the first time this had ever happened maybe I'd be a little more understanding. However female tauren still have to dismount to get through the UC elevators. If blizzard is too stupid to make proper sized doors then they can at least shrink our "size" to be in line with other characters. I will gladly watch my head clip through objects if it means I can actually travel where every other player in the game can.

If you're whining about not being able to walk through a door, then by all means please whine. I'm not going to stop you. But whining about not being able to fit through a door while mounted? That's another story.
I play on alli side and I have an Elek, I can't fit through half the doors in the freaking game on my mount. Idk about org but sw just wasn't designed with larger mounts in mind.
I think the game should be designed to let any avatar walk through any door, but not any avatar on their mount!

Sooo, can female tauren make it through the friggin door yet? I haven't been able to participate yet because the door was too small
