There are a couple of items you list as elemental and not resto that are actually *very* nice for resto. Gavel of the Brewing Storm and Battle Mender's Helm. Before Wrath I didn't touch crit. If it was on an item that had other stats I liked, fine, but I didn't go looking for it. But now in addition to the benefit crit already had, thanks to the talents Improved Water Shield and Ancestral Awakening, crit also becomes mana regen and extra healing. My resto shaman is wearing the Battle Mender's Helm now, and I was trying for the Gavel of the Brewing Storm before I was lucky enough to get the War Mace of Unrequited Love to drop.

The downside though is that I pretty much have two sets of gear. I have my crit gear for 5-man heroics and I have mp5 gear for raids, since I don't use LHW or HW very often outside of 5-man content.

Oh, and I forgot to mention Tidal Waves, which makes it so that crit also gives you haste.
