Blizzard's European A Very Warcraft Christmas Contest
Blizzard's European arm has partnered with Steelseries to offer some cool prizes this Christmas for folks that send in pictures of a World of Warcraft themed Christmas decoration. The contest is only available to a slew of countries in Europe, and there is no indication if there will be a US version of the contest (though I wouldn't be surprised). They're offering some pretty cool prizes from custom WoW keyboards, to gaming mice, to mouse pads. You can browse through our gallery bellow to take a look at what you can win.
I'm most interested in the keyboard. I tried one like it at a convention a couple years ago, but never had any extended play time with it. I have to wonder what it would do for my prolific use of macros during raids and groups.
Check out after the break for some more contest rules from Blizzard, along with a list of exactly what countries are eligible.
Remember, send your entries to Blizzard! Not us!
- The contest will run from December 3, 2008 until January 2, 2009. Entries submitted past this date will not be considered eligible for participation.

So should I start the QQ for it not being available to the US or should somebody else? ;)
Kevin Dec 5th 2008 1:14PM
Should I, as a European, QQ about the 235 other promotions/actions/giveaways/... only eligible to US residents?
Tythian Dec 5th 2008 2:45PM
You want more European promotions go get a European company to make anything as good as WoW.
American company... mostly american freebies...
What do you want next? Blizzcon held in Europe?
You get the xpacs before we do.. sit down, shut up, and be happy with what ya got.
Taxis Dec 10th 2008 4:12AM
Maybe an american company.
I can guarantee you this; the vast majority of players have not set foot on american soil.
Gnosh Dec 5th 2008 1:20PM
You mean the promotions/actions/giveaways held by the American company, based in its American headquarters? That'd be silly.

I see the WoW mouse there..does that mean they're giving away mice to people for free before fulfilling paying customers' orders that were placed 2 months ago?
I'm really starting to dislike steelseries.

I have to 100% agree with you on the mouse comment. When the hell is that even coming out? How can they give it away if they can't even sell it? I have had mine pre-ordered and paid off since the day it was available at Gamesuck (Gamestop that I hate but was forced to go through). That company is terrible at giving out dates that are reliable apparently cause it keeps just getting pushed back on the day it is supposed to ship through Gamesuck. I wish they hadn't bought Ideazon at least if they announced something they were relatively accurate on a release for it. Either way I am with you Corazu I am beginning to hate that company myself.
Corazu Dec 6th 2008 4:30PM
I bought mine directly from Steelseries. It's ridiculous.
Taylor Dec 5th 2008 2:45PM
Anyone know where I can get the artwork for that mousepad with the wyrm?
High res would be epic :)

I've got the base for that keyboard, now all I need is the keyset! I can't wait until they have it available for sale! (So far I see nothing about it on Zboard's website v.v)
It's great to see that Blizzard is thinking of competitions outside of the US! Next stop Australia?

I formally request that you credit blizzard in your photo. Since the models and skins you are using are property belonging to them.
Don't be petty.
