More free EU character migrations
Aren't you EU players just lucky lately? Here's some more free character moves for you to make -- apparently the population situation on the EU realms must be bad, because I think this is the third (at least) round of moves Blizzard has made in that region. Here are the latest ones, to be in effect now through the ninth:Drak'thul, Grim Batol, Sylvanas --> Bladefist
Al'Akir, Neptulon, Ravencrest --> Deathwing
Burning Legion, Crushridge, Twilight's Hammer --> Dentarg
Magtheridon (Horde only) --> Zenedar, Haomarush
A lot of these are the same transfers offered previously -- in fact, all of the realms Blizzard is transferring from have been offered transfers before, though the realms people are being transferred to are switched up a bit. Anyone out there who didn't transfer in the first go-round but is willing to transfer now?
If the issues continue, Blizzard might have to come up with a new way to control the realm populations -- there's always the option of splitting up a big realm, though neither Blizz or players will probably enjoy going through that. But they've got to get rid of the queues somehow, right?

Splitting the realms might be a better/quicker option than the realm transfer option. If you think about it, the first round of transfers were probably most of the loners, people who didn't have ties to the realm, and those who had a reason to want to leave (bad feelings with other players there, etc). Now you're down to those people who have a reason for staying where they are - most likely the people they enjoy playing with. Splitting the realm would give Blizzard a chance to let entire guilds to decide which realm they want to go to, preserving their guild history, structure, etc.
Lets face it, for a majority of players, the people in their guild are the reason they would want to stay on their current server. After that comes your friends list, and then your friends who aren't on your friends list.
It wouldn't be too difficult for Blizzard to announce that the realm is splitting, have an in-game option for the guild leaders to select which realm the guild is moving to, and then wait a week or two. Then split the realms and when people log in they can be presented with the two realms with notes: you're guild moved to realm A. 6 of your friends moved to realm A, 3 have moved to realm B, and 5 are undecided. Which realm would you like to move to?
After that, just leave the transfers between those two realms open for a month or so to let people get adjusted and happy, and you're set. It's better than waiting 30+ minutes in a queue every time you want to play.

From what I have heard is that Blizzard is offering these free transfers out but has not shut down paid transfers in.

Opening up free pvp -> pve migration might help.

They should have stopped paid transfers 6months to a year ago. Instead, they turned them off for like 2 weeks after WotLK and now they're on again.

What queue's? I'm from Mal'ganis (US) which is at the top of the population list on the US side of the pond. After the initial WothLK launch crush, where server queues were over 1600 *nightly*, there have been either zero or very short queues (200 max), and that's during peak prime-time hours. Are there servers that are still suffering from tremendous queues? And if so, why?
Special Note: Mal'ganis must be slam full of "Hardcore Players" because there are more 80's than non-80's.
