I agree that a "good" mage can top the charts without Frostfire spec but you will not be getting as much damage as is possible from your gear and character.First off, Frostfire spec is the best spec out their for a mage doing single target damage in a PvE setting. If you want to give up the extra damage because you are more interested in staying frost, arcane, fire, or any other combination than that is your prerogative. It is your choice to spec and not get the optimum amount of DPS out of your gear and character.If you are saying your elite for topping the charts against a FFB mage that can not play? .... Grats, I guess.Also warlock bashing (I intentionally stand near the warlock when Krystallus does shatter in H HoS) and tea bagging are some of the best parts of being a mage . Just like having to make a table at the beginning of every 5 man is one of the worst. (It costs me 5 reagants now???) I know that me and the warlock are good friends ( at least he thinks) and it is all in good fun.
