Ebon Plague to get some multiple user loving, says Ghostcrawler
So there's a slight problem affecting Unholy Death Knights in groups and raids these days: When there's multiple Unholy Death Knights, only one can put Ebon Plague on a mob. This wouldn't seem to be an issue at first glance. After all, Multiple Curses of the Elements from multiple Warlocks don't stack, right? Here's the deal though. The Ebon Plague counts as a third disease for the purpose of Death Knight abilities that count diseases to deal damage, such as Scourge Strike and Blood Strike. When only one Death Knight can have Ebon Plague up, the other Unholy Knights are left out in the cold and have a part of their damage stripped away.
Luckily, relief is coming. Ghostcrawler has said that they are aware of the issue and are looking into fixing it. They don't want the debuff to actually stack, of course, but they also don't want to cheat Unholy Death Knights out of damage.
How they'll do it is still up in the air, but hopefully we'll see something like all Unholy Death Knights being able to use any instance of Ebon Plague, or perhaps multiple instances of the debuff on a mob with only one actually provided the magic vulnerability.
There's no ETA on the fix, but for those of you bringing multiple Unholy Death Knights to an instance or raid, it should be some welcome relief. In the meantime, I suppose you could always draw straws to see who gets to respec to Blood.

"Just split up the 2 debuffs"
I bet Blizz goes in that direction. If EB no longer incorporated CF then they'd have a fix.

I hope they do something similar with Earth and Moon... Being as it's an Arcane school debuff, any mobs that are immune to Arcane magic are immune to the debuff as well. That is a significant amount of damage lost to a caster-heavy DPS group.

I'm pretty amazed at all the immature ranting going on in this column from the DK's :P Do you guys all know each other and this is a guild joke, or are you truely that immature? please shape up a little, theres no place for ranting like that here, go to the official boards if you want to act like that. all it really does is make everyone disregard any comment you had made, even if it had a shred of truth to it.
On the subject, sounds like its a global issue that affects quite a few classes. I would dare say that if blizz fixes this one, then they shodul fix teh others as well. now, the only caveat here is if blizz had allowed the others to be in by design. What i mean by that is if they allowed the others limitations to stay in because they were happy with the results even with teh 'bugs' in place. It seems that at least for thsi case blizz's intentions were that every DK got a benefit from applying their third disease.
While i don't play a warlock, i do play a rogue (and DK), and if the poison limitation is hurting their dps potential, lets fix it. same with locks. And jury's still out on top DPS folks, dont be flashing epeen fluffing comments yet, all 3 DK specs are close enough to each other that it largely depends on player skill as to DPS output. Currently the top DK's in our guild are unholy. that could change with the adjustments they want to make to blood...who knows...

Be sure please to not assume we who role DKs feel we are superior. Frankly, my ego isn't wrapped in my toon. I just really love the dynamic. I am frost specced, and favor blood for DPS simply due to Mark of Blood we get. It is handy when you have an AOE boss healing a little to take the sting off of the dmg. Kinda wish I could put Vampiric Blood on the tank to alleviate some of the strain on the healers. I enjoy helping out so we dont wipe. If I am atleast higher then the Tank (if similarly geared) while DPSing, then I feel I have done my part IF I am doing other things to buff the group. Though DKs really dont have too much group buffing we can do, that I have experienced. I hope you all will give running with DKs a try in the future, atleast pugging with us, in that I really love the class and enjoy the ability to tank as well. just my 2 cents,
Zane

We actually raid with 2 unholy Death Knights, one of us is specced with Ebon Plague and the other just Crypt Fever. This not only gives both dk's the 3rd disease but our disease damage is increased by 60% instead of the normal 30%!
