Oh, yes, and as Corazu said, it also synergizes with our Soul Siphon talent. Not having Shadow Embrace up lowers the potency of our Drain Life & Drain Soul by 4% (well, it's 4% in lost potential for extra damage).

In short, it's a key affliction talent.
