Fixing this should be pretty easy. Just split up the 2 debuffs, have Ebon Plague not be a disease (either Magic or general debuff) and you're done. Thematically it's a little weird to have something called "Ebon Plague" not being a disease, but hey, it's for the balance of the game, isn't it?

I bet Blizz goes in that direction. If EB no longer incorporated CF then they'd have a fix.
