The most popular single post (that is, excluding category and tag pages and other special pages) of all time on WoW Insider is about Arena gear. Zach put together this look at the brand new Arena gear for season 4, and since then this post is constantly on our top posts of the week lists, as people continually go back and try to search for the gear they want to drool over again and again.

Arena in general is dotted all over our most popular posts, with this gear guide also being a standout up in the numbers. For all of the whining and crying about Arenas, the one thing all Arena players want to read about is the gear they could get, and every single time we post about new Arena gear, players come running in to read about it. Arena PvP is one of the most controversial parts of the game, but almost all of our readers can be united under one banner: getting shiny things they need a rating to wear.

But while pictures are big on the list, our most popular post does not make for our most popular stories. There are two more stories left that have been huge over the history of WoW Insider, both in attention and numbers.
