April 29th, 2008: WoW Insider's Guide to the Mounts of the World of Warcraft
This one might be seen as a bit of a cheat on our part -- ever since this guide was posted, we've promoted the heck out of it, and it's often seen on the front page when there's not a ton of breaking news to have up, but when you consider just how hard our own Adam Holisky worked on it, there's no cheating involved. This may have been the biggest guide we've ever done on the site -- he painstakingly sought out each and every mount in the game, from the normal faction mounts to the rarest of the rare, and put together pictures, videos and stats on each and every one of them. If you need a mount, it's in there, and so is everything you need to know about how it looks and how to get it.

Throw in the fact that mounts are the most coveted out of all of the items in the game, and you can see why this gigantic guide Adam put together has been one of our most popular posts of all time. And it's getting bigger -- he's working on updating it for Wrath right now, so stay tuned for all of the mounts you can find after you pick up Cold-weather Flying in the frozen North as well.
