Let's kill this myth right now:

Death Knights' damage from their abilities come from AP. If you read the Unholy talent Impurity it says "your spells gain an additional X% benefit from your AP".

All plate DPS gear stack strength, stamina, agility, in that order. Secondary stats on plate DPS is crit, hit, expertise.
DKs' starting gear in Acherus has strength, stamina and agility.
The T7 and T7.5 do not have spellpower.
Even paladins (besides the Holy tree) stopped having spellpower on their sets.

Death Knights aren't designed to run around in Spellpower gear.
