people whining about how oh-so-easy naxx25 is just make me laugh.hello....it's a STARTER zone.and for those screaming about needing harder content -- go do sartherion+3.blizz (imo) did an amazing job creating raid content that scales with the needs of it's playerbase this time around -- a fun and easy-to-do large instance to get gearing up done quickly and some fights that can be as hard or as easy as you want them to be. honestly, what is not to like about this?

Precisely! But no, see - the guys that cleared Sunwell want the new raids in the new content built JUST FOR THEM so that you have no chance of getting to the point that you can take this content if you haven't been raiding on the same schedule they have. The mere /idea/ that maybe the first big raids in the new expansion may have been built to get the 'scrubs' and 'facerolling casuals' interested in raiding again, plus Blizzard's reported three MILLION new players post BC launch not having any chance at all to do some of this higher end content until now..Well, this is a perfect storm of 'resetting' the /gear/ difficulty in raids without resetting the /skill/.The trouble is, I think, all the folks looking at people like .. oh, I dunno, /me/, being one of those new three million, is that they view things through the lens of their own experience. "But everyone was at 70" they say - VERY not true, thankyouverymuch. But the biggest one that seems to pervade these folks's arguments is: "If you haven't raided what we have, you don't deserve to start." And this is lame.I'm all for keeping boss encounters difficult, and the strategies tough to implement. But the /gear/ requirements have been 'nerfed', if that's even the word, to make the Entry Level Raid that is Nax accessable to those groups that have not raided before, either due to timing, lack of interest, or the absence of people to fill holes on the lower level raids. One example: My guild BARELY hit the level cap before WOTLK. We were trying to put together a Magtherion (sp?) raid - and /just/ got to do Kara for the first time, with the guild overpowered, in WOTLK instance blues, for it. Sad, huh?How were we supposed to gear up to do BT? But we /can/ gear up to do Nax. It's a possibility. And we can join y'all in the WOTLK content. Why. Is this. Bad?

But but but you heard what some people have said! They want challenges! However, they don't WANT to do Sarth +3. It's like tying their hands behind their backs! I really don't get this mindset which has cropped up regarding raids being too easy. People need to look at the raid as a whole (achievements included!) before they stick that label on this content. No, raids today do not have soul crushing difficulty and endless amounts of trash with quick respawns. For now, like Allison said, this is a good thing.
